Home Is Where The Heart Is

This past Saturday I got to enjoy a beautiful scenic fall day with my son. It is one of the last Saturdays we will spend in Central NY in the fall and call it home. We went to our favorite place for lunch, our local Wegmans. It’s actually a great grocery story that tries to support local farmers, has a good healthy foods section and a great deli and eating area. My family has traditionally enjoyed this spot on Sundays and I have had many good meeting with associates there too. I will miss it.

But I realize that home is where your heart is. And my heart is with my family. I was going to write a different message tonight, I had it planned, had my notes ready to educate you on the latest… but then I fell into the time warp of Facebook and Google and my heart was wrecked once again.

I learned about a group of “Lost Boys of Sudan” from an older 60 Minutes show and I heard and saw some of the most moving stories.

So today I am not going to educate you about health but simply share what I found on the internet on 60 Minutes. I hope it helps you appreciate your life even with the hardest challenges and remember your home is where your heart is.

God bless you,
Dr. Mary Starr Carter
